Newb! Water in Fuel problems

Hello All,
I have a pair of 6.7 company trucks that I've had great luck out of over the last 140+k miles until now.

Somehow we managed get to get some water in the fuel and now I'm having some problems related to this.

Here is what I know. The fuel pressure is 1400 psi. I didn't get to drill the mechanic, but they were trying to sell some full mark up parts without a full diagnosis so I'm off the pick up the rig.

They said it was either the injector pump or injector(s), but couldn't tell me which one. I assume the fuel pressure reading was done via scan tool. How can they possibly charge $4,400 for a injector pump. I purchased a new one for a 5.9 years ago for under $800 that was new, and it appears to the same part.

Any insight would be helpful as I'm not sure where to go from here in properly diagnosing this truck.

Its not the same pump, as always new parts = expensive...that does seem pretty high, was this just for the part or installed as well? I think I have seen the pump online for $1300 or so.

They have them on ebay for $600 listed for a 6.7, but I'm not even sure that is the problem. Does water often take out these pumps? I've had atleast 30 company diesels of the last few years and never had a pump problem with any of the makes, and when it was an injector it was easily diagnosed.
