Truck Died????
I have around 32000 miles on my truck and have never had a problem with it but last night I started it and a couple seconds later it died and the check engine light came on. I tried to start it again and it wouldnt start. I turned the key off for about 30 seeconds then tried again and it started and hasnt done it since. Do you guys have any ideas why it did that? once it started again the check engine light went off.??

Mine has done that too. It only happened to me twice, both times I had started it and put it in gear real quick, and it shut down before I drove 10 feet. One time it restarted, the other time it didn't. If that's what yours did, they tell me it is the security chip in the ignition key didn't get enough time to verify itself, so it shut the truck down. Ever since, I always wait several seconds from starting before I put it in gear, and it hasn't happened again. Hope that's all yours is.
