air to water intercooler
well i have been looking into this because aftermarket intercoolers are 1000+ and i do think that air to water is a better app for me
now i have found a place called Air to Water Intercooler i am looking at the Water to Air Intercooler DIY Kit 1200 HP Installation Kit: Include Water Lines and Fittings (1200 HP) (+$54.99) Intercooler Inlet/Outlet: Opposite Side (Type 18) Pump Type: Bosch Cobra (+$69.99) Radiator Type: Default (Type 100 w/10" Fans) anyways it comes out to 615 if i did my math right lol it 2:11 in the morning ![]() plus about 200 more for Piping, Hose Couplers, Clamps and other things u run into i was also thinking i will need to free up space in the engine bay. i will be running my intake were the air to air charge pipe went to the intercooler. have the intake filter behind the grill so i dont have a big air box and still get cooler air. also move the 2 batterys in to the bed and it will be 100 pounds in the rear and not on the front. so what do u guys think? i hope there is someone that has a air to water kit to give me some tips:thumbsup so ![]()

I'm installing a Spearco 2-230 L-A cooler in my '59 project. Just got mounting plate and brackets fabed and installed, see project pics at website listed in my sig line. Installed, not piped or plumbed yet, but soon. Updates on website and project thread on cummins forum, search forum for "liquid air intercooler" and you'll see posts and pics.

here is a question, wouldnt the water meth injection do more for you then the water to air cooler? the water meth lowers egts and improves mileage which i am sure we are all looking for with the price of fuel. just a thought
