H&S Stage II delete W/Pressure Box.

Ok so I got my kit last night. Everything is there except that the box was damaged and the inlet to the mid pipe was bent. Straightened it out and all is well. No big deal.

I don't have the edge yet and the directions were a little unclear. They sent a small black pressure box with 3 wires coming out of it that plugs into the factory harness on the transmission. The directions said that if I am not using the edge to unplug the harness. And that is it. So I think I should unplug the harness and push the wires in the factory harness from the pressure box?

The other 3 temp modules are simple it seems, but I am a little confused on the pressure box part.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

All you do is leave the sensors electrical connection on the side of the tranny unplugged. You also remove the rubber lines.

I talked to h&s tuesday and they are sending me the pressure box so the truck don't throw a P2425 code. They think it is the code that is making these trucks smoke in the mornings. I don't have mine yet but i hope it works. If u leave it unpluged it will just throw a code and the truck will run fine, but like compcowboy said u have to leave it unpluged without the pressure box.

Well, they sent me the box, but it doesn't have a connector on the end of the wires, however, the pins are soldered on the ends of the wire like they go into a connector/harness.

What pressure box are you referring to that H&S has. I just installed there kit 3 weeks ago and all it came with was 3 fooling boxes for the egt sensors. I had a lot of white smoke on startup in the mornings, but that went away right after I removed the EGR and blocked it off. The only thing that sucks about the kit is that every now and then my truck will display Service Required See Dealer Now and ding 3 times every 10 minutes. I then need to clear the codes manually with my code reader before the next time I startup. I was told if I had the Edge and cleared them on every startup I would not get this message. It would be nice if they had something to prevent this message for displaying I don't mind the CEL but that damm thing dinging every 10 minutes pisses me off.

What pressure box? Where does it plug in? I have not gotten any rsponse form H&S in a week or so. M y truck stopped smoking in the a.m. when I deleted the EGR...but still want to know whas the story with the pressure box.

I also want my truck to be code free WITHOUT the use of a PMT , EDGE , or anything like that.

Alright here is the deal, In my kit I received 3 pig tail connectors for the 3 egt probes. Aside from that, I received a small black box with three wires coming out of it. They are red, yellow, and black. They sent instructions to install it into the connector that goes to the differential pressure sensor on the side of the transmission. The yellow, red and black wires correspond to the factory wires in the harness that goes to that diff. press. sensor.
Again, this module is aside from the three pig tails.

I think I have found the sensor you are talking about and it is quite expensive.
Performance Diesel Inc - Pressure Box Fooler

I wonder if this will make the kit code free now for H&S. Other than the EGR of course which no one can seem to figure that one out.

sounds like you got the code free kit that they just started shipping. Just hook that separate module up to the wires on the transmission pressure sensor and see how she works. Then report back with results of course

Just to let you guys know, the total cost of my kit just for reference was 650. It included egr block plates, 3 pig tail modules, 1 pressure box, Down pipe, mid pipe.

Will report back with findings

That is exactly what mine looks like.

I just got off the phone with H&S and they do have a pressure box for $70. I order one, they asked if I was getting the overhead message and I said yes. I guess this will prevent that from being displayed. I asked if this would make the kit code free except for the EGR delete, and he said pretty much whatever that means. I will be a happy camper if I don't get the damm overhead display and dinging every 10 minutes. The CEL I could care less about. He also said that this box is a direct plug and play just like the EGR fooler boxes. If this is the case H&S has one very nice kit now.
