egr delete question

i made some block off plates for it. but im wonder what codes or what i have to do it wont throw codes. im not exactly sure what to do im new to these 6.7l. im doing this to my dads truck, i just put a dpf delete and it works going only a couple codes. the truck doesn't have the edge it has a ppe. someone tell me what to do please!

it's goning to throw codes, so do the delete and you'll have to live with the cels or get an edge or pmt to delete them at startup.

2007.5 3500SLT, Mega Cab, DRW, 4x4, 6.7l g56, entire exhaust fell off had to replace with 5"ss turbo back, oh yeah, the egr/egr cooler blocked off somehow. S&B cai. edge w/ attitude. Valair's new 12.25 DD w/ HD Hydraulics. sure runs good now!

You will get one harmless code from the EGR delete. I wanna say its P0405.

but it will still run fine with the code. it already has a code on it now from the dpf delete so having them is no prob. i just dont want that limp mode.

Do we have to do the DPF delete before the EGR delete? Or doesn't it matter???

Seems to me cleaning up the intake air will give better combustion and less regens. No?

I tried it, didn't work for me. Very few others seem to have had different experiences.

Basically it ran real good for 250 miles and then started the random surging / bucking / P0106 / ETC stuff, it would clear up for 50 miles and then start all over again.

The results are the same for those who just unplug the EGR. It works for some and not others
