Buddy, are we required to upgrade in order to use new versions of the PMT software?

I'm out of my 36k warranty anyway, so I'd have to pay. Not sure how much hassle it's going to be with all my extras.

Right now the PMT won't work on these new flashes. In the new version I am working on I am going to make it easier to opt out and put the new flash on like the Triple Dog and PMT for the 5.9L. You will have the option to go get the flash or continue and we will put it on for you.

Just got AY yesterday. I'm going up north this weekend, hopefully I'll be getting 20 MPG. (Yeah right...)

I could be wrong, but I don't think they really give you that info. Every flash that's come out has been a balancing act between trying to get the chimney scrubbers to function properly without making fuel economy tank. Basically subtle differences in the regeneration strategies. (In my opinion...)
Hopefully they'll figure it out before ZZ flash, or they'll have to invent a new numbering system....

Bud:
Thanks for the part numbers.
This was the clue that my dealer needed to find the new flash.
According to the Shop foreman when they looked for a new flash they could not find it.
As he stated as soon as they entered the part number low and behold up ucame the AY flash.
Thanks again for the support.
How soon before you have an update to support this new flash as I will be having the latest flash installed next week.

Well the 08 may be able to be upgraded this way, however the 07 requires the bootloader approach as the ECM memory is not sufficient to handle an update with out first erasing the portion of memory reserved for operation. The next big question is could an 08 CEM be installed in an 07.
