egr......now or wait

I got my egr plates in the other day and my ? is what code it throws, i can live with a cel but if its dinging i will loose my mind, im getting a pmt to clear codes n a few weeks soon as the wife cools down(just droped 1k on the dpf delete thats going on 2nite with the egr plates pending yalls input) so if any of yall are running egr/dpf delelets whats the outcome. do it now or wait for pmt?

Were did you get your plates from and how much I'm looking into this as well. I have the delete kit but I'm right there with you. I just as soon rip that stupid ding bell out than listen it driving down the road.

If you have the edge it should delete your codes on startup (Insight manually) so you shouldnt have the cel on during driving. Get r' done pods.

Go ahead and do it if u wish. It will throw codes but it wont make the dinging noise any worse. Blocker plates can be found here k2dieselperformance

I was told it doesent ding with the dpf kit, i just wasent sure if it would with the egr off

IF you have the edge with attitude and use the clear on startup option it will clear all codes. So your good to go

It will ding on startup but not while your driving. Do it NOW!

well just got the 5" tbe on sounds great
no codes yet, no smoke the ebrake sounds like a jet taking off riht next to ya, ran outa daylight so the egr gonna have to wait till toromow
