I think short of taking it to the dealer to allow them to clear it out you may continue to have issues. That will be hard to do unless you put it back to 100% stock and take it in.

You can always try it and see.

Not to worry Roland.

It took me a bit to get it too. Up until this truck, I didn't care. But all that Shtuff under the chassis. . . Well let's say the creator of this thread, CompCowboy, taught me some of this last year

That sounds really weird in my head.

this i a great forum!
hey kneeconst maybe you should get your self a nice tuner with diagnosit trouble code function, I have been using a superchip tuner with great success.
you could try this turn the ignition on, within ten seconds of doing that smoothly press the go pedal to the ground 3 times, this resets the coumputer.
mainly for the oil change reset, but give it a go.
leave off the dpf..egr & cat,

How to upgrade smarty

We just bought the Smarty S67 and we need to upgrade to the Smarty S67ME. We've been told that it can be done but we haven't been able to do it. Has anyone done this before and could help us.

thanks

The general recipe for making power with a 6.7

I did my first dyno with my truck over the weekend, and while I was pleasantly surprised with my numbers I was only the 2nd truck on the rollers. By the end of the day I didnt feel so proud. While I dont need 1000+, I would like to get it around the 500 mark. (I hear thats about the limit for the tranny) I just have my original mods, edge juice 5, dpf,egr delete, s&b intake. Which way do I go next that makes will get me where I want without having to sell the house to pay for it. I dont have the budget for truck parts some of you guys have built into my paycheck! Thanks for any help

thinking about buying 08 dodge 2500 6.7 liter

I have a 05 5.9 liter 2500 crew cab 4*4 with 23 miles to gallon, truck but thinking about buying 08 with 6.7 but the few people I know that have them don't like them because of mileage and other things. Are these new trucks junk compared to the 5.9 liter? I love my dodge but just want a newer one but I keep getting told I'm much better off keeping mine or finding a lower mileage 06 with 5.9. The dealer even told me the 6.7 increased the value of all the ones with the 5.9 Is this true? My uncle bought 2 08 with 6.7 and now wants to sell them to find low mileage dodges with 5.9 but I'm really not sure why. I have a chance to buy a 08 with warranty 21000 miles mega-cab big horn 4*4 with all the extras for 19000 but I don't want to make a mistake so please clue me in.
