I do have to admit the stock turbo on the 6.7 is very good. Boost pressures up to 35-39, I am impressed. And have a second function as an exhaust break. Be interesting if they design a system that can run a second turbo.

Make this thread a sticky so nobody has to ask.
No one will see it, they will just go start a new thread asking who makes a DPF delete and how hard it is to install. Good post regardless Cowboy.

I wish this post was there when I joined because I didn't know what a lot of these terms meant. Part of the reason is my limited mechanical knowledge and part of the reason is I am still having trouble trying to do a search on this forum. Almost 80% of the time I am getting "Sorry. No results found". I am known among my friends and family as a google man, because I research the crap out of everything (quite successfully) most of the time...:thumbsup However, I have to say the search function on this forum has me beat.. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, or if there is something different about the search function itself...

Regardless, I've learned so much from this forum, just going through it page by page... And I agree it's a great post Comp!! :thumbsup

maybe so, but then instead of giving a quick explanation, we can just tell them to "read the sticky".

Hi to all I am new. Ive been reading this for a few weeks and find this forum most helpful for a frist time diesel owner. I have almost 12000 miles on my truck Ive had it in 3 three times for the PDF/EGR all befor I had 9000 on it. I have not had any problems lately, I will not be surprised when I get that eng. light back on. My best mileage has been 19.4 at 1300 rpms my ave. is 18.4 I drive about 40 miles 2 times each day. I have learned a lot keep writing because I still have a lot to learn.

I’ve got 11,300 miles on it, its been in the shop 3 times for EGR, filter cleans and 1 time for the turbo clean.
Even with the problems I Love this truck, it really is one hell of a truck, its my first diesel and first 4X4 so much maintenance is required.

I been reading this blog for two weeks and I have learned a lot keep writing because I still have a lot to learn. Up until I had about 90000 miles I was getting 16-17 mpg, last week 19.4 is my best so far.
