Need some DPF delete help

Laying under the truck, selecting wrench after wrench for the numerous bolts and sensors, and I have the DPF stripped of connections.

How does one go about taking off those rubber bushed pieces that suspend the DPF? If I could get those off I could get the flange off the bolts on the NOX end and would be good to go.

Or do those studs come out of the flange?

Also, so far on the DPF only I have found two EGT probes. Where is the third one that I have to disconnect?

This is going to be an XRT delete to start.

A quick spray of wd-40 and they slide right off. Same for getting them on.
The 3rd EGT probe is on the downpipe next to the O2 sensor.
I find laying under the truck and pushing the muffler back out of the way with my foot gives me the clearance to get the pipe off the cans.
You are deleting the NOx & DPF right. Typical delete pipe is for both cans.

Thanks D2B, what I am doing is removing the DPF and then putting a 3 and 3/4 hole saw through it. Looks like I can do the deed right on the truck with the NOX cannister. I got a 7/16 drive and a nice 18 inch quick connect extension for the hole saw. Everything will be in place, just disconnected in a stealthy manner.

Like said, spray some WD-40 or some PB Blaster all over the rubber bushings. They'll slide right off.

The NOX was a piece of cake because the hole saw fit right in. I also bought this wild looking self feeding drill in 1 1/2 inch. I started the hole saw to get a nice round slot. Then I drilled the center all the way through with the 1 and 1/2 incher and using a long screwdriver and a hammer knocked chunks out, sawed some more and in three passes was all the way through.

The DPF was not so clean. There are ports in the way of the hole saws. So, the 1 and 1/2 incher all around and then knocked out the middle. Worked just fine but is a bit more rough on the inside.

Ready to reinstall, and program the truck with the XRT. Pictures to follow

OMG!
I helped out an XRT owner.
I'll be kicked out of the Smarty club for sure.

I hope it all works well for you.

D2B you helped out a Edge, XRT, and Smarty owner. As my grandmother said when asked why she talked to all the clerics that visited the hospital when she was in for cataract surgery, "At my age, you don't take any chances." She was 92.

I don't take any chances. I will mess around with the XRT and Smarty. I like the Edge a lot already. I did learn one thing about the XRT, for my never before programmed truck, it took exactly 39 minutes key turn on to key turn off to get the 60 hp tune loaded. I took all tuning functions from the Edge off, as well as the Quadzilla fooler. I will mess with the XRT tunes and see how I like them. Smarty should be here next week.

Runs is about all the time I had to work with it tonight.

ADD is a blessing, makes you invaluable to the company you work for.

Here is the hole saw, auto feed saw, NOX and DPF along with a pile of absolutely useless junk.
