03+ Intake Manifold?
So howcome it is we cannot run a 05 CR 5.9 Intake horn (such as ATS or AFE bladerunner) on the 6.7l's? I know it could be a different angle, length etc, I just havent had a 5.9 intake manifold to compare to a 6.7L manifold for differences.

Because they have a huge differance in them such as the 5.9 has a small 4 bolt square flange. And the 6.7 has a huge 6 bolt rectangular flange that bolts to the block.

I thought about that too, I remember someone saying the Grid heater is massive compared to the 5.9L so I assumed it would also use a different flange where the intake sat. I was just wondering since I never really sat down and looked at the size differences.

Could you swap the intake runner plate between the 6.7 and 5.9?

you can make an adapter and run a 5.9 intake horn. but why would you want to cut down the size of the intake? wouldnt that hurt the performance?

ooo i gotcha. but ya the 5.9 intakes are like 3-3.5" through the whole thing, and the 6.7's are just huge compaired to them.
