Don't aftermarket air horms delete the EGR? I would think that would void warranty for sure. What about an intercooler? Will it void any warranty? If you find there's not much more you can do to the engine without voiding warranty, I'd look at some suspension and steering upgrades. Maybe a steering box brace and some Bilstein shocks to improve the ride and handling.

Shibby stage 1 intake horn flows alot mote air then the stocker. Plus the stage 1 allows the use of the EGR if you wish.

Thanks for the info Skin. I didn't realize anyone made a horn that still uses the EGR as it's a mod thats waaaaay down on my list so I haven't looked into them at all.

It is a good upgrade on any truck and truth be told some of the happiest guys are running only a DPF delete and the EGR blocked.

You dont loose 40 HP by simply unplugging the EGR valve UNLESS you are running the smarty then the EGR servo motor has to stay plugged in and hung on the side many of these trucks have been dynoed and i does not loose power.

And yes if you are going to continue running the EGR valve and emissions the Shibby stage 1 is worththe money the OEM intake is a JOKE

yeah that will work for you and you will see a gain. But I will strongly advise deleting the EGR valve this thing is the detriment to our ENGINES. it does make the engine heat up a little quicker but to me not worth the extra wear and tear or recirculating the exhaust through your truck. I would keep your grid heater delete the egr and if quick warm ups are a biggie which i would say up there they probably are get a block heater or one of the aftermarket heaters that run off your diesel tank fuel bud. I hate the EGR valves they are 80% of the problem with our trucks then 10% DPF and the last 10% is chrysler dumb stuff
