Lightbulb Stage II Intake Elbow, Info Wanted

Alright guys, I have the most of the CAD finalized for my Stage II elbow, now I just want some more input from the end users as far as what you'd like to see in it.

My Stage I elbow has provisions just as the stock one does for the harness retainers. Keeping in mind this isn't going to really impact cost of it one way or another, do you guys still want the Harness connectors on it or could they be done away with all together? Maybe just the rear one and not the front? I'm just throwing ideas out there to get the conversation started.

How many boost reference/equipment ports do you really want 2, 3, 4? I know some guys run water/meth with manual boost gauge so that'd be three down right there.... Again just lookin for input, tryin' to do this right the first time.

As far as a time table goes If everything goes right I should have some prototypes in my hands for test fitting in 4-5 weeks. So keep your pants on and don't let your panties get in a bunch, things are comin'

Thanks

Shibby Engineering

Kurt,
To make life easy for you I would just machine 4 ports. If the guys need less they can just plug it. Better then having to machine 2 or 3 different ones and the only difference be the amount of ports on the intake.

I know, but I am trying to anticipate, I don't want to follow in the footsteps of all the big box guys like Banks or CFM that just say here you go and you're stuck with whatever they've provided. I figure If I get a few opinions first I can have a product that works for just about everyone.

Kodiak, I totally agree with that point, a 52 cent plug costs less than having to keep two different configurations in inventory.

Anyone else have an opinion about the harness retainers?

I vote to keep the harness connectors. If they are gone then you end up with zip ties everywhere.

I think provide 2 drilled and tapped holes is fine. But cast it with bosses for 4 holes. Anyone can drill and tap their own hole if the boss is there.

Can't wait. Do you have an estimate at what power level the stage 2 would be a benefit?

Go with two pre tapped ports but like milo said have at least a total of four. That would make it more convient for guys running water/meth systems.

I still say 4 ports since all 4 of mine are used. You would need more if you had NOS.
