The #1 injector line is most likely going to have to come out for the install so you can start that bolt just a bit then slide the intake around it and finish tightening everything down. About the dipstick mount there, It would be most cost effective from my end to kep the mount similar to how it is on the factory one, that way I don't have to keep two parts in inventory for the Horn. Keep the info coming this is all good stuff
Then please forget about the dipstick mount and i'll make one myself that bolts to the valve cover, can't be too hard. I don't want a tower sitting on top of a nice looking, smooth intake horn I want it to look good too. And i see your point about the 6 point mount

Let's get this thing ready

2 ports,2 bosses,no retaining clips. Guys that need 4 ports are usually mechanically inclined enough to drill and tap a hole.

Ya I am not smart enuf to want to drill and tap 2 more holes in a brand new $400+ intake horn. Sorry for "suggesting" 4 proper ports which I use.

HA HA HA you're right, you should have seen the ports tapped in his stock one. Its OK Jon you still have a kickin' truck. I don't expect people to be modifying my parts once I sell them I think just makes the opportunity for bad things to happen. I messed up tapping the hole at such an angle on my Banks highram on my truck right now, I had to drill it out to 1/4" NPT we all have our moments. To be safe I'm probably going to go with the 4 ports to avoid just that.

4 ports for sure. Ship the plugs with for like $1.99 if everyone isn't able to go get them on their own. Cheap and easy enough for everyone who doesn't want 4 ports.

Plugs will be provided at no cost, they are going to be included just as they are in my Stage I intakes as well as new hardware(if any is different than stock) and fresh OEM gaskets.

The throttle valve can be removed with the XRT, maybe the smarty as well. That throttle valve will have a smaller ID than my intake so it will be one last restriction (not a large one but none the less) if it isn't replaced.

Map sensor provisions will be machined into it as well. Truck doesn't run well without that, no way to fake lookup tables for that guy as far as I know.
