That was for the 5.9. Every person that dyno'd before and after with just the silencer removed on the 6.7 LOST HP. Why do you think they put it in with dowels that have to be drilled out instead of the snap ring that could be taken out in two seconds on the 5.9?

Yeah im gonna need a link on that one. Ive seen a few posts of individuals removing it though.

I remember seeing a bulletin on the whistle plate somewhere, and how it was mandated by Dodge. I was unaware of the dowel situation with the 08. Mine is still in place. So, the bulletin evidently was concerning 5.9s and not the 6.7s. Anyway, my father is a little hard of hearing and can still hear his 6.7 turbo, so it's all good I suppose.

Form what i could find on Holsets web site its just called a "Sound suppression baffles". Hers the link,

The 6.7 turbo is called HE351VE, HX35 is a 5.9 turbo.
