Fuel tank guard

There is a sheet metal guard on the inside of the fuel tank that is causing some issue. It is tearing a hole in the sheet metal around the forward retainer causing it to flap against the driveshaft when driving down the road. If your truck hasn't had this problem you may want to check it. The Dodge dealer in my town said that it may be a recall soon because they are on backorder and they are not making anymore.

I had the same problem, I just cut the first half of it off up to the tank strap. Problem solved.
