Arent 325's a 35? I have the cooper at's in 325's and they are wearing very well. I think they have a 50,000 mile rating. I am going for some toyo mts or khumo muds when these wear out.

Im looking at new tires myself. I hate trying to pick out a tire. Im going to be going from a 315-70-17 BFG AT KO on stock wheels to some type of a mud terrain. My BFG's are load range D. Havent had any problems other then a slight over inflation due to keeping the stupid TPMS light off. SO Im wearing down the centers.

Im thinking of maybe a slightly narower tire and a load range E this time

I drive about 90 miles of highway a day 3 to 5 days a week. My Nitto mud grapplers are about bald after 19k. I wont own a nitto anything ever again. I'll go back to a STT or a Toyo any day.

I feel your pain....I bought mine about a year ago to the tune of about $2,000 (tires only at dealer wholesale price), and my rear tires are about trashed...I might just get 2 new fronts and swap the fronts to the rear since they're still in good shape.

I might just go with a whole different set of wheels and tires all together.

Been wanting different wheels for a while, but I got such a good deal on mine that I couldn't pass them up at the time......Know what I mean?

Not sure about which wheels (20x10) yet, but probably will be going with the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's in 38x15.50x20.

Anybody running those Kumho's and have any input........good or bad?

I've had the Toyo 35's for a few years now. They're great. The BFG 315 AT's I had before them gave me death wobble with over half the tread still on them. The sidewalls were just shot. I'm not going to put another D-rated tire on for that reason alone.

I rotated mine when the rears were about 40% and the fronts were at 90%.. About 9k miles ago, and the front has about 20% and the rear is maybe 35%. I tow heavy about 3 times a month, maybe 40 miles. One trip to the strip two weeks ago. Other than that, normal driving. Sometimes on the throttle, but mostly highway. It was the big sipe in the middle of the tread blocks that caused the accelerated wear in my opinion. Just looking at them after driving you could see they were streached out and would wear unevenly.

You are 100% correct. The tread spacing and relatively soft-compound (which makes them sticky on rocks) is what will not make for a very long-lasting streetable mud-tire.

I think I will be going with the Kumho Road Venture M/T KL71's....

They're good-looking, aggressive, quiet, long-lasting, and still a very capable off-road tire.

I think it's a pretty bad-arse looking tire....

Here's the wheels I plan on getting to put them on....The KMC Badlands (20x9) in new Black Magic finish! I called KMC a couple of years ago and they didn't make this wheel in black, and told me they would look into it...well, now it's here.

I saw some in person the other day, the tread didnt look that deep to me for some reason. They may have had some miles on them. I'd be interested in seeing some pictures when you get them.

Stock wheels are 8" wide and the spare stock wheel is 7.5" wide. No problem w/ 12.50 -13.50 wide tire on the stockers, just have to adjust the tire pressure according to wear and ride comfort.
