2500 towing 38' enclosed gooseneck HELP

I've gotten alot of help on this topic in the towing section but needed a little bit more and alot more guys frequent this area I think. So heres the deal. I have an 08' 2500 and plan on buying an enclosed gooseneck trailer. I found a 38' United Expressline trailer that has dual axles and aluminum walls and floor. I'm going to look at it in the morning or Saturday morning with my money so I need help quick.
Can my 2500 tow this trailer good? I know the motor can but what about the suspension? It will be hauling a 2400lb race car and a golf cart along with all the racing junk..
I really appreciate all the help!

My trucks is an auto...Sorry I forgot to mention that..
If you can haul a 40 foot camper then I should be fine with a 38 foot trailer. I wouldn't imagine that the trailer i'm looking at weighs have as much as your camper.
Just trying to make sure I'm not gonna spend money on a trailer that my truck won't pull.

depends of the style of the nose, but if it is a full 8.5' wide at the front, then yes you will likely need an adpapter or slider to be able to tight.

It has a full box. Here's a pic

I haven't got a hitch in my truck yet so is this extend a hitch thing something that goes on the trailer or in my truck? I have a short bed truck if it makes a difference

That trailer is for a long bed. The short bed trailers have the hitch extended out in front of the box and or the corners cut off the box.

Thats also for a 2wd truck.

You race mods? I race IMCA stock cars. I have a United trailer close to that one but it was built with 6-8 extra inches of height on the box for a 4x4.
