This is 32', about 7k unloaded. Filled with tools and chains, and the dozer weighs between 9000-9500 pounds. Its not enclosed, but it is shaped like... well... a bulldozer. Pulls just fine, no airbags or anything, just a good brake controller. ![]() I've also pulled a 28' bumper pull enclosed several times, no problems there either. With a good hitch I think you'll be fine.

Im not saying it cant be done but with that adapter but you are just making the hitch longer you are not moving the pivot point at all. I have pulled full with trailers with a short bed and can say i dont like it to much. I just wanted to give you information on what would allow you to back up and turn the most. Contact with the cab is expensive, in my opinion more money up front on a hitch is better than paying to have the roof of your cab re worked. I think converting it to a 5th wheel and using a sliding hitch is the best route and would provide the sharpest turning angle. You could also get the trailer made with a angled front box.

I don't know much about goosenecks is why I'm asking all these ???'s. I appreciate the help. I'm not wanting to have a sliding hitch in the back of my truck all the time is the reason I don't want to go that route. Also, I found a trailer for a great price that is exactly what I want just want to find out what I need to tow it. This is confusing ![]()

I tow a trailer similar to that, but our race trailer is 44ft with living quarter in the front. They are tounge heavy so you will definetly want air bags. you will want a slider hitch or else you will hit the cab trust me i learned the hard way.. no need for a dually our trailer pulls like a dream. they make a slidder hitch that automatically cambers it away from the cab when turning, it would be money well spent. my fifth wheel hitch is on a rail system so you can un pin the hitch and your bed is clear no hitch, I also have a goose neck adapter that fit on the rail so i can pull both types

I'm really not wanting a slider hitch. Way to expensive IMO and hate how they take up the whole bed pretty much. I'm not sure if this trailer has a 5th wheel or gooseneck. Guess I will just have to find out in the morning. The picture looks like its a 5th. If it was I guess I could just get the adapter so it would hook up to a ball. Also would something like this move the pivot point far enough back to clear the cab? Hitch Solutions The Rapid Hitch

The further back the pivot point the better, but you have to do so without moving the gn plate rear of the axle. I think b and w make a 6in offset ball.... but i think they call for the hitch to be installed closer to the cab then some other brands you will just have to figure out what setup allows the pivot point furthest back.

no i sure dont but it puts the trailer a good 10 inches back. the only problem i would see with it is with this hitch is you cannot haul it with a flat bed truck as it wont fit in the hole unless the bed has the goose neck trough.

also that extender makes it a million times easier to unhook the trailer without having to squeeze my arse into the bed.
