Some new pics of my Painted truck....After someone took pics of my last paint..
So in an effort to be original I tend to do custom things to my truck. It really boggles the mind when people blatantly copy what you do... My last real fire paint job was the case. Some butthole took pics of it at work (was caught by a co-worker) and asked where it was done... Then said he was taking the pics to lethbridge and have the same paint done. I couldn't believe when it rolled in to my work and was virtually identical. I know I don't own copyright but please have some class.. The good news is that was really the motivation to try something new on my truck. I do all my own paint and sometimes all you need is a push to try something else.... I wouldn't have been so offended if i was actually asked (and paid) lol to do the work.. HAHAHA Hope you fellow rammers approve. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great job man! Sucks when someone copies your truck, but even worse if they are local! Same thing happened to me with my truck, except I didn't do the work myself. I still give the other guy stinkeye whenever I see him!

That's bad , I like it! It's pretty subtle, yet custom and unique.

I thought about painting the mirrors, and buying the painted handles, but the paint never matches lol. I am looking to buy some step bars but painting them to match, since it is a sport truck and has no chrome on it I won't start chroming it up now. lol, I am deciding what to do next I plane to pull the engine cover off and paint it to match with some blue flames as well.

That is sick looking. I would paint the headlights electric blue to match the truck. Not a big fan of chrome. So how many hours did it take you to do that?

I'm really liking the blue ghost flames, but I really don't care for the real flames. You should have done the ghost flames first! I also like the Bushwacker extended flares. Smoother and cleaner then pocket flares. I want to get some extended flares for my truck too. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Don't let that bother you, if someone else tries to copy your ideas. It's bound to happen sooner or later.

The airbrushing part took about 8 hours, it is the prep and disassembly/re-assembly that takes the time. The ghost flames actually were the first but it was too much and needed contrast, thats why I broke it up with the real fire off the headlights. I prefer the non-rivet bushwackers tha I put on they are more OEM looking then the rivet style and less "boxy" As for the headlights I am planning to get myself some Halo projector headlights, they have the rings in them that light up blue and will look sick.
