I looked around a while back was able to find a 4gen 1/2ton that had grey on grey, but it was hard to tell how it would look with our lights. I ended up doing black on mine.

grey on grey? not perfect since the truck has been painted and the headlights are a flat grey, but it gives you a good idea....scroll down

The write up for the DIY on DTR was for 06 headlights.......is it the same for 08 model trucks?

opening them up wasn't nearly as bad as others have made it sound!
I had the first open in 5 min after baking for ten, the second gave me a little trouble because it had more sealant on it but I still had it apart in 10 min!

those look great scrappy! and your right to me the hard part isnt opening them up, its sealing those suckers! PITA IMO. but heres some pics of my buds again with the front end finished up, just got done painting it and powdercoating the chrome bumper....looks great IMO, i just would have left the turn signal tunnel chrome if it was mine, but never the less hes happy and turned out awesome.

I was about to paint the turn signal reflector on mine too, it was a pain to mask off! the chrome in the headlights isn't really chrome, acetone took it right off and so does the masking tape!

i called on those oracle headlights they want $1700 for the same lights in that oracle dodge pickup in the charger forums i think i will build a twin setup first haha
