Door Rattle
Just curious but are anyone else's doors rattling? The plastic on the inside, not the actual door in the frame. I only have 16,500 miles on the truck, i think its a little too soon for it to start rattling.

Mine just started and its driving nuts, I am think I am going to ask the dealership if there is anything that they can do but I really doubt it. It goes away when the window is down, even if its just cracked. I am probably stuck with it though.

The rattle in my door is from the door locks. I bought those aluminum ones at Genos and they really rattle when I hit a bump or if the subs are poundin'.

mine does the same.. Some of it is the door locks, but a lot of the noise is from the plastic door panel rubbing against the metal door frame.. What I did was outlined the door panel and then removed them.. After they were off, I took some clear tape and followed the line on the door itself I just traced all the way around, re installed the door panels, and now no more rattling.. There's probably other things you could use, but at the time it's all I could find and it heavy tape like you use for moving boxes and it's clear so you can't tell it's on there if you get outside your line a little bit.. Anyway it worked and my truck is A LOT quiter now.. It still rides like a lumber wagon and there's some other rattles, but the major rattling in the doors is gone.. Good luck.

I forgot to mention that all my doors have Dynamat installed. I had it put in when the system was installed. So it's just the door locks on my rig that rattle.

this is nuts, i just thought it was my truck! my front passenger door rattles like crazy. i kept thinking there was a flashlight or something rolling around in the little storage slot and always told myself i would check it out when i stopped but always forgot....then i finally looked and there was seriously nothing in there. then i thought maybe it just wasnt closed well, but it was.

uh, there's 1.5inch knob up on the dash just to the right of the steering wheel. if the stereo is on just turn the knob to the right/clockwise until the rattling goes away. j/k
