Engine Start Button

Saw that someone had one on a 5.9. Wondering which wires to get ahold of to do it to mine.

OK so I have done some research and I think I may be on to something... Looking for some help still though. The light blue/red wire is a constant 12v power and the purple/brown is the ignition switch sense. Could I just run a jumper off of the LB/R to the button then cut the P/B wire and run it out of the other side of the button? Thanks to all.

Does anyone know what a bypass module is. They have them on remote starts and I think I may need one so the computer doesnt think someone is stealing it.

did it to mine, it does just splice right in. yellow wire coming from the ignition to the starter....just add your relay. you can wire it to have the key still work or to have the key not work. i wired mine so that if you turn the key to start nothing happens, but you need the key turned to on for the button to be engaged. press the button and the truck starts.

I just used a regular relay. Some don't need a relay but my button did but I got a button out of a S2000 because it already has chrome trim and fits much better. The SRT10 button requires you to make some type of bezel most dremel out an electrical washer so that's why I went with the one out of an S2000. There's 5 pins IIRC and you have to wire to 3 of them. Google Honda S2000 push button start how to. There's instructions somewhere out there. That's how I did mine
