See if this helps.
DIY Guide: How to Install S2000 Push Start Button. (Visual Guide) - Page 4 - Club RSX Message Board

I also like the S2000 button because it's illuminated

here's a pic of the button
http://www.civictyper.ca/Civic/S2000.start%20button.jpg

I tried to get a pic of it illuminated in my truck but it didn't show up. It's not cheesy where the whole thing is bright red. Just the white letters light up red and it's pretty dim

Ok so picked up my button today from Honda, where do I get the wire clip that plugs into it. Do I really have to get it from Honda or would somewhere else have it.

Do not do that!

Our trucks are ran on MULTIPLEX starting systems in which case our starters are not activated from the key by a 12v signal, rather a -200ma ground signal will engage the starter... you will need a relay in order to engage the start as the starter wire is also the same wire as another wire. Let me look at my techsoft wiring as I've been out of installs for a year and I can't remember which purple/brown wire it is that it is.

whatever you do DONT put 12v on that yellow wire in the ign column. could be a data wire or ABS if you are really unlucky. Also DO NOT use a probe on the white/orange and white wires that are twisted together as they are the Can bus wires (hi/lo) that communicate on the truck. Probe those wires with a crappy probe and say goodbye to your ECM.

lol next thing you know is this guy is going to be posting a "There's smoke coming from my ecm, what do I do" thread if he doesn't catch my reply by the time he installs

Poor guy. All dodges after 2002(03 on HD) Run MUX systems. 06 and new also run CAN bus systems (All come from Mercedes design) so typical 12v applications don't work for alot of stuff in our trucks.

Has anybody figured this out???

I was thinking i could wire the switch to the relay and from the relay tap the 12v and the Ignition wires with a ground from both the switch and the relay...

But i remember reading somewhere that these trucks had 2 ignition wires...one for when the key was in the on position and the other one when you turn the key to start (i think it shute off the first one and turns the second one on)
