My worst nightmare!!!!!!

I was at work a couple of days ago and we all heard a tree fall and i go outside and this is what i see. This sucks!
Got off the phone with the insurance this morning and they totaled it. Now the fun begins

aw man that sucks, well i hope you get ur money out of it, or if its not terrible bad you can buy it back and rebuild it!

how bad was it? Looks mostly bed cosmetics, but hows the hood?

It was pretty bad the est. repair cost from the body shop was $28,000. the bed was gone the cab is gone all four doors , front and left front q-panel and the hood, It did some serious damage.
Luckily i was able to take off all my afftermarket upgrades. hopefully they will fit my new truck.

I would still consider buying it back. If the drivetrain is good and you can pick it up for 5 grand or so. It would be worth it for a spare engine or sell the drivetrain for a healthy profit. I just picked up an 09 for 35 g.

Sorry to see your truck destroyed. Are you going to get a brand new truck or try and find a low mileage used one to replace it? Is your insurance company giving you the option of buying it back for parts? Maybe one of our members wants it for parts? Good luck with what ever your new project is going to be!

Here is another one im having trouble with the resizing so i can upload. Ill try to post more. Ill call the total loss apprasier monday and see what the buy back cost would be.
