Is there a way to check it? ( The old "starter fluid" to the base gasket in small engines trick comes to mind, I'm wondering if there's a similar trick to check this out.)

Bingo!

It's the drivers side tow mirror. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow.

Last week, I was driving around 45MPH, and the whistle was driving me CRAZY, so I opened the window, and it actually got LOUDER! So, I started feeling around the front of the mirror, and I found that if I put my hand in front of the mirror (around where the break away hinge is) it would stop.

I called the dealer, and they didn't have any information on it, but I asked, and they do have another mirror in stock. Lets hope they can fix it, it's REALLY annoying.

Same here, cant find my boost leak at all. Happens under WOT and EB. Its not constant like this thread, but more of a singing noise. Couldnt imagine this whistle all the time. How do you look for boost leaks, i looked at all my plates, they are half inch. Been on truck over 100k miles no problems all of a sudden, its starting again. EGR cooler removal fixed my last squeal exactly as I am having again. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH
