I think the best way is that you need people to pay up front. Maybe you can get one or two vendors on here to commit to 10-20 each. I know this. I trust you, and yes I don't know you, but I would send you $100 to get this started and made. So you just need to find 99 more people or like I said maybe 50 people who will send you a $100 and then 2-3 vendors who want to take a chance. Sell the first 100 and I'll be you will sell more.

So put me down now, I'll send you the money as soon as you PM me and tell me where to send it.

I feel the same. I would send the 100 now to get this thing started. And I agree with wildman. Talk to some of the better/often used vendors and I bet that they would take part in this and provide some backing.

Now I would recommend submitting for a patent NOW! That way somebody doesn't take your idea and start making beaucoup bucks off of it. Especially after all the hard work and time and effort you have put into this. Just my .02!

Anyways, PM and let me know when and where to send the money.

Ill buy one for 300 probably more. If that helps any.

Anyway, if you dont mind, pm me with what it cost you to get yours made. If you were nice enough to supply me with the CAD file, I can probably get one made here in Houston or many more made here in Houston for a competitive price.

It would be worth $100 to see this get started! It's a great idea and it is original. PM me and I will get it in the mail also. If I want something in a hurry I would go too Mcdonalds.

I have a year until I will be installing gauges, so if you need the money before hand, I will get it to you. I don't think you would have a problem getting 100 people. You have 11 pages worth of people right now; and I am sure you can go hunt through other forums and see if anybody else wants one.

Looks like I may have a couple options. I have a meeting to discuss any design molding issues. Basically the mold is all thats wrapped up in cost, but that could be 3-4k or 8-10k. I'll keep you all posted.

I know the owner of Laker Custom plastics in Phoenix. They do all the custom plastics for the ATV's. He is making me a set of customs plastics for my ATV show bike. If you would like I can speak with him. The mold is the most expensive part. He most likely will require a certain order amount. I'm sure if you speak with K2, Rollin Smoke Diesel, Wally @ FTE Diesel, etc they would be interested. You might even be able to get with someone like 4 wheel parts, etc. to stock or sell your gauge pod

Let me know if you want me to speak with him. I can do it before I head out of town.

I am willing to pay ahead of time to lock in my order. So you have 1 so far. Who else in in?

Im in for one of these. I'll mount my Insight in the center of it and flank it with 1 analog gauge on either side. Should look very nice. I'll float the cash up front if need be as well. I say once you get a good idea on what it would take to get the ball rolling, start a new paypal account and post up on this thread and a new one in the Performance Parts section (since it technically pertains to performance parts as well and that section without a doubt gets the most exposure) as well as in the 06+ 5.9L sections and see how much you get. I'd be willing to bet you'd soak up that investment capital pretty quick at $100 a pop for this one, ESPECIALLY with the ability to customize the face to whatever combo of analog and/or digital gauges you want.
