I have the one that you have to drill holes, i would be careful with that 3m tape one, cause change in heat and even the heat from the motor could cause the tape to lose it stickyness and going down the road at 65mph will lift that bad boy off. Just my past experience...

I've learned to trust the 3M tape if properly installed on a clean surface. I installed a bugflecter and window shields on my 2000 durango when it was new, it's nine years and 225,000 miles and they are still there. Good enough for me:thumbsup

If that works for you. I have seen them pop off before, if temps are warm and installed properly. All i know is i would rather put a couple holes in my hood being that i am not going to remove the scoop. I am not trying to get a mangled hood scoop and broken windshield, but just personal prefrence...

I too am searching for a hood scoop.
I found this place. Think I am going to go with the double scoop (HS002) and paint it myself.

That cracking really caught my eye also. Probably should have posted that after it was done.
It has potential:thumbsup

Did the scoop have a particular name. I have priced one at a dealership in central texas and that priced it at 700 and billet grile was 300.
