PMT installed

Hey C/C guys you better start saving your pennies. The PMT is on and no more CEL's or dingging every ten minutes. Buddy @ Bully Dog has some thing to work out before the final product is ready. I hope to have some info and results hear before to long.

Going good so far. Still waiting on Buddy to get a program for the AU flash. I'm ready to hit the rollers as soon as he gets it to me.

So you are running it for the code-clearing ability and the gauges but aren't running any of the tunes yet?

Yeah for the most part but I have had it on the Extreme level a time or two.

Im confused. Do you currently have the AU flash or AX? If you have the AU and the PMT doesn't allow for AU, how are you able to load a tune? What is the PMT set up for, AX?

The AX flash will not work on a C/C truck. It is for the regular 2500 and 3500 trucks only. Buddy sent me a program for a C/C truck, it's just not for the AU flash. As far as I know his program for the AX flash on the regular truck is doing pretty well. Keven at K2 Diesel Performance could give you better details on that.

Now Im even more confused...

Im not interested in what the PMT does in the regular trucks as there is ample information on that available. Im interested in what it will do on the C/C as one will be joining the stable before years end and I am looking to do everything I need to get it rigged up immediately after purchase. What flash do you have on your C/C? If it isn't the same flash that is loaded onto the PMT, how are you able to load a tune? On the regular trucks you have to have the corresponding flash on the tuner as the truck in order to load the tune. Is it different on the C&C?

As a result of the deletes? So if I go out this weekend and do the pot. dpf delete, I'm gona get a stinkin' dinger every 10 minutes? that pretty much kills that idea then.
