C&C Stands for Cab & Chassis

The term C&C or C/C in this section stands for Cab & Chasssis. This C&C option comes from the factory without a truck bed. Below is a list of trucks you may find people talking about in this section.

2007 and up RAM 3500 Cab & Chassis
2007 and up RAM 4500 Cab & Chassis
2007 and up RAM 5500 Cab & Chassis

Mods please make this a sticky :thumbsup

+1 for the sticky...

This is what the Cab & Chassis looks like from the factory (minus the mud flaps)

aren't the C&C frames narrower too?

My original plan was to purchase a C&C and throw a "take off" bed on there. It was too much time than I had to spend with all the differences.

They also come with a aisen tranny instead of 68.

Heres my wannabe C&C.

And this is what it looked like brand new.

Next truck will be an actual C&C though. Beds are made for DD's.

Yes they are narrower too. I am still working on getting my take off bed mounted. It can be done, and mine should be all ready shortly

A little off subject but how do you like the air hitch?

I shoulda bought the air ride when i first started. BIG IMPROVEMENT in ride quality not to mention it wont jar your truck into peices after many miles let alone your cargo. I even have a thicker back plate for that just incase moment!! Since my b&w looked like this after i took it off.

It looks like you avoided a serious problem. Hows the amsoil bypass system working out have you had an oil analysis yet?
