20 mpg?

I have a 1991 5.9 and a 2001 5.9 and get 20 mpg or better on both at 65 mph running empty. Would like to buy a 6.7 and hope to get 20 also. Is this possible? Will the 6.7's get 20 or better?
Thanks
Russell

If you do the deletes. You might get close to twenty. If I run only highway I can do 20.5 or so.

i just ran 500 miles of primarily only interstate, 07 3500 cc 4.10 auto, empty, just truck, w/ avg speed of 70-75 and got 15.6mpg...no deletes or anything, stock truck. so is 20 possible? prolly if you hyper-mile...20 likey? not IMHO...

we can barely eek out 20 in my dads 04, 3.73, 4x2, manual

You'd be surprised how much the deletes can help. I was 13ish to 15ish before. Now I never get below 16 mpg. I had to go to Lexington, KY this past weekend and the over head showed 20.9 mpg when I got there. It's normally off ~1.1 mpg.

Hard to believe you get 22+ with 4.88 and 4x4.

My 09 C/C 5500 gets 10 mpg haulin a 25' tandem dually trailer 99% of the time. Half the time it is loaded with 16,000 to 24,000 lbs of mink feed and the other half it is empty.
