Bigger turbo . It runs the 431VE as opposed to the 351VE on our trucks. They have a way different fuel map in them as well, I think they only make something like 260 HP but 620 ft/lbs of torque. I've been wondering if the manifold off that truck will bolt up to ours without any engine compartment clearance issues. I do know the controllers communicate on the 431 when you plug it into a dodge.

Yeah sorry, wrong HP numbers there, you're closer. I think they have a similar combo NOC/CAT/DPF unit that the C&C trucks get.

F650 base is only 200 and 520, LOL. Impressive! as Tom put it. My truck in 03 made better numbers than that, I think even the SO motor did.

So whats the deal with the bigger turbo if it's a lower output engine?

i guess ur refering to the isb260 the isb325 gives out 325-750... 26000 towing capacity?? i wonder if this is cheaper or same price as a ram 5500

It's all in the fuel map and efficiency range. The 431 will spool a lot quicker at lower RPM which the ford models are tuned for. It has the capability for a higher mass rate because the impeller geometry is different as well. The inducer is pretty close to the same size but I think the exducer is larger.
