5" on Cab and Chassis?????

Just like the title reads...... has anyone installed a 5" exhaust on a C&C yet. I really like the sound of these 6.7's with a 5" TBE. Just wandering if it will bolt to the turbo the same as a regular pickup, and if it will clear the under- carriage OK. Looking under the truck, it looks like it would work, may just have to get another piece of pipe to make it longer between the cab and axle.

I think hardcore diesel had one done! My dads got a unique set up on his 550 with self air leveling suspension and what not and makes it a pain so i think we may end up needing custom 5 inch made for his as far as the tail pipe area... But any other cab chassis should be good to go with a regular 5 and just need that extra length..

HardCore has a used 5" off of a 5.9 on his truck. Fits almost perfectly on his although I believe his truck is the shorter wheelbase. If you use the 5.9 exhaust it gets rid of all the emmission tuff in the exhaust and looks almost factory. Do a quick sarch and you should ba able to find pics of it. It may have been in the dpf delete by the numbers thread.

Yep, as posted above I installed a Magnaflow 5" turbo back that was made for the 07 5.9L trucks. It sounds really good and has no drone at all.

Ya just look for a 5" exhaust for a 04.5-07 5.9 and it will work on a C&C if u have the normal bed.

A 5.9 exaust will fit on a 6.7????? The C&C is a 07 with a 6.7.
What do you mean Normal Bed? it is a flat bed. But the frame is different than a pick up.

Look at HardCore Diesel's truck. His exhaust is a 5.9 Magnaflow from a pick up. It needed a real minor tweak to fit his CC. Like said above I dont think it will fit my 11' bed very well. My wheels are 2 more foot to the rear with an 84" cab to axle length where a short bed (8') is a 60" cab to axle length.
