So my overkill should be more harsh on the seals and o-rings....good. If it doesnt hurt anything then we'll be ok, right?

i suppose it would be putting your experiment under extreme condiditions, this i suppose would be a good test, but if it corrodes the oring and gaskets pieces, you'll wonder what would happen with the 1/256 mixture. curious to see how it works, i'd like to keep running it. how's the bottle holding up?

Acetone is a main ingredient in Gunk brand diesel fuel conditioner which is supposed to work fine in the new ULSD engines. I used it in my 05 Powerstroke with no problems. Have not tried it in the Dodge yet.

So the proper ratio to fuel for the acetone is what? Have we found a unambiguous ratio to mix to a full tank of diesel?
