DPF Delete only
I am really new to the whole DPF EGR delete scene. If we only delete the DPF will the amount of soot pumped back into the EGR decrease? I read that the EGR pulls off the exhaust right before the DPF (I did not crawl under to look). Does the DPF create the back pressure needed to push the exhaust back into the EGR Valve assembly or does the EGR actually mechanically pull the gases from the main line of the exhaust?

The EG comes right out of the exhaust manifold on the 6.7 Cummins - the 6.4PSD pulls EG from after the cat before the DPF. I believe that any back pressure required for proper EGR would be created by the VGT and not the DPF... could be wrong on that one.

If you are going to hassle with the DPF you may as well do the EGR. Its worse for the longevity of your engine.

An hour the first time you do it. The instuctions are pretty accurate. Just take your time and dont get in a hurry.

To remove the Cat yes, its not required though. I do recommend it though. With the amount of $ you are already dropping its not that much more to go ahead and to the d/p too. It runs better, IMO
