Truck wont show codes

I've had no problem in the past cycling the key three times to read the codes but now all it does is ding, then a pause showing this (------), then it shows done. I just done the H&S delete last week and wanted to see what codes it was throwing. Why is it not showing them all the sudden.

Its an odd thing but it will only show codes some of time and only some of the codes. Not sure what the reason is.

I can't get the codes since the AX flash,,bought a CAT code reader on E-bay for 43.00

How can I tell what flash I have? I would assume I've had them all.

still no fix. I was having problems way before the G30 recall and I've been back several times since then. Last time in the shop was June 18

It should say on a sticker under the hood on top of the radiator.

I've had the same situation for a few months. Eventually I bought a cheap Inova scanner at Wally World and it works even when the key trick doesn't. Plus you can clear the code if you want.
