Sounds about right.....fix the problem....no parts to fix it....still not able to drive the truck....I think everyone needs to do a dpf and egr delete and get rid of these idiotic dealerships....why do they schedule our trucks in without the parts.....this is getting ridiculous with these stupid band aids and their service

yeah i just took my company truck in again for the 7time this year........its not cool. i told my boss that we need to get this delete kit asap if we didn't want these problem and downtime any more.

but the truth is that it doesn't hurt me , it actually puts more money into my pocket, because then we use my truck to haul everything around. i end up with like close to $1000 more per week just using the 5.9.(company pays rental for my truck)

Yeah, touching the emissions voids the warranty.

But I want a good running truck, I need it for my business. I loose more money with it going in all the time, that why I spent the doe to make it run good.

I was in the dealer ordering some cosmetic stuff, since im up on warranty anyway, I told the techs what I did, they said, it will be expensive if you break something and have to get it fixed.

I said..it will only be expensive if you guys fix it.

Well I finally got my truck back from the dealer, they performed the TSB 11-001-08 and TSB 11-002-08, so we will see if the de-soot works, I found this on the web:

I can't believe they said you need to drive it hard in that TDR news story, basically to keep it from getting codes...and they were laxed in the how hard you need to drive it to keep the 2262 code from popping up
I'll tell you though you really need to RACE AROUND to lose the 2262 code and not for like a few minutes either..

I wish i was there for this question....

Q – What is Cummins stance on performance chips or programmers?

A – Did we not give you enough power?

SSA- I don't see no 4 digit torque and 4 digit horsepower numbers in that dyno sir, so NO! you did not give me anywhere close to enough power...
Q- how about removing this added baggage you got dangling underneath my truck killing me rather then make me spend money to right your mistake?

How come there is never a guy like me at any of these question and answer bs stuffed down your throat sessions?
