Regen problem
I'm having trouble with my truck going into regen, even with the dpf delete. H&S Performance was good enough to overnight me their updated black boxes, the three that plug in. However, the problem is still there. They suggested I have a flash done, anyone???

Yeah What he said? Make sure they are left unplugged but the sensor is connected to the wiring harness.

Sorry--left the computer behind for a trip to Vegas. Anyway, I left the sensors in place and unhooked. I then hooked the black boxes into the wiring harness. The problem continued, my Edge would not clear the codes but then I used my PPE. Knock on wood--that cleared the problem even though I removed the black boxes after the regen continued. ???

Are you changing the settings on the PPE alot? Wasnt there something at one point about changing the setting would make the ecm look for the dpf?

No, I generally leave the settings on the PPE alone but .... Now the damn thing is throwing a P242F, P1451, and a P0106 which my Edge won't clear the first two. I took it by my dealer today and the service manager tried to clear them but was unable to. I was running without the three black boxes on the exhaust from H&S and it was just throwing codes. When I put them back on it went into regen and has stayed in regen? I'm afraid I might have to put my EGR and exhaust back on and schedule a visit to the dealership.
