I am running an E rated tire and can run them up too max when I am loaded and I can run them down to the recommended pressure on my door placard 60 psi up front and 40 psi out back when unloaded. I of course do not get a light at max pressure. When I air down to 40 psi in the rear, the warning light in the instrument cluster will light up. I then use the light load switch and all is well lol

I just put some new procomp xtreme all terrains on mine and when the tire shop put the first set on they aired them up to 50 psi all the way around and the light went on. Hit the light load switch and it didnt do anything. Tire shop had to air them up past 65 psi just so the dumb light would go off. Now im stuck at 65 psi cuz i dont wanna see nor hear that dumb light.

How are you guys getting your light load switch to work?

I did a little searching and I found a lot of info...here is a site that has a little info...

TPMS from Bartec USA

Here is a page from the same site that has a little more info...
TPMS Industry News - The Latest News From Bartec

I hope some of that helps.

I know that at les schwab they have the tool and reset and re calibrated mine when the installed my new tires there. I have no problems...

Leave your fronts at 65 and air down the rears to about 50. Get in the truck turn the key to the "ON" position and press the light load button. It should stay on and the idiot light go out. After that you can air down to within 25% of the light load rating which is 60 frt / 45 rear. I took mine to 52 all around. Do this with the tires cold.
