Engine Sound Difference

Do you guys notice the sound difference in the automatic vs. the standard. The auto sounds like a 12valve. The standard, or atleast mine sounds like a ticker. It just doesn't sound like that deep engine rattle? Is it because of the transmission / torque converter loading the engine slightly?

Haven't noticed anything between auto and manual but there is a sound difference (more rattling) between regen and and no regen even at idle due to the EGR being shut off during a regen cycle.

Did both deletes and sounds good, from the exhaust and from under the hood. Dont have the EGR opening and closing changing the sound of the engine. My Brother-in-jerk (I mean law) has a Mega cab automatic and it does sound a little different idling than my standard does. Also, the MP-8 changed the sound of mine. It seems like it may clatter a tiny bit, like a 12 valve. Not much though.

LOL i was kinda surprised by this and liked it since the new one is the auto.
