Another DPF ???

Need some opinions... Got a 07.5, 6.7 just passed 40K miles. Other then getting to a first name basis with the folks at the dealer shop for all the little yellow lights the first 10-12 months, my truck is stock & running great. I get 18+ MPG on the highway unloaded, about 13 in town & pulling a cargo trailer over the flatlands down here in TX. I plan to keep this one for a long time and would like to know if y'alls opinion if you would still do the DPF delete?

Thanks & really enjoy the forum

I think If I could get 18 with no turbo problems I would just leave it alone!

The good luck to date is what has kept the wrenches in the box so far.. I am concerned about the long term damage I may be causing... The other thing is I go to Austin from time to time & I sure would like to roll some smoke around a few of those "tree hugging" hippies. The only weapon I have know is to use the exhaust brake as much as possible there (yeh, they outlawed using it in town)

Do the deletes. EGR and DPF, your truck and its oil will thank you in the long run! With getting 18 now, you'll prob get 22 without all the emmission poo-poo.

The soot that builds up because of the EGR cannot be good. That said you seems to be getting along fine with everything in place. I think you can go either way.
