lol. i like how they waste no time in reporting you. ... that must be common place for them to get bashed by people. i wonder if any one other then cummins people laugh at them. i bet all the charger/ 300c hemi's with the MDS, all the Corvettes w/ 28mpg, and other such fun cars laugh at them too. maybe they'll all just cry themselves to sleep one nite.

The prius doesnt even get that great of mileage. I have an 89 Dodge Colt that gets 42 mpg on the freeway doing 80mph. Cruising around town I get like 35, and thats not even driving it nice, I'm floored most of the time trying to keep up with traffic. This sucks I got banned, I cant get on and look at this stuff.

im going to show my neighbors this little article. these neighbors are really cool people, but they're all into this "green stuff". Since ive moved in , ive been try'n to tell them about these hybrids, and try'n to convince them that the old diesel engine would be more environmentally safer than your prius(eg. mecedez veggy burner). they are actually now interested in it. But im sure if i was to leave this little article about hybrid cars, they are sure to come on our side............

I read an article once, that I wish I would have saved, about the total costs with everything figured in, environmental etc, comparing a prius and a hummer H2. Long story short the prius was way worse on the environment because of the disposal cost of the battery those little cars have. I just love people who are "green" because it is cool. I get almost 20 mpg with an 7500 lb truck and can actually fit in it comfortably and tow or haul . People make me mad

read the one that i posted. its compared to a hummer. i wish people would see the potentail of possibly driving a TDi or a small diesel car. i read an article recently saying that when compared head 2 head with a bmw 520D. the prius got worse mileage, not to mention i promise the styling/comfort of a bmw is far better then a POS, i mean Prius

holy crap. i just realized i forgot to say this this morning. i'm house sitting for the owner of the company i work for, and that means i get to car pool in the company car with some other people. (of course company car is a Prius) :cry coming from first hand experience. the prius sucks. unless your going down hill the on board comp. shows about 25 - 30 mpg. the leather is nice, but the seats were built for horse jockey's or little girls. not for a 6'2 man. its terrible. i was in the backseat and had my head cocked to the side and it still hit the cieling . not to mention my arse was taking up my side plus half the center section. thank god this is only til wednesday@!!!

thanx smokinthehippies I knew someone on here would have that article. I also wish this country would wake up and realize diesels are much more efficient along with less maintenance among other things. thats why my wife will soon have a jetta TDI or a Cheroke diesel if she wants an SUV.

There was a news report from the phoenix area recently that stated that it would take about 4 years for a Prius owner to benefit or make it worth it financially from the cost of buying one because of the mark up on the stock price. It was like an additional 4 thousand dollars. You would have to keep one of those cars for about 10 years before you would be saving some serious $ assuming you 100% finance one verses a conventional engine.
