The 2009 Ram, I like the Built in Bed Tool Box

Here is a nice little write up on the new Ram. The Tool Box built into the Sides are a very nice touch

Isn't that just the 1/2 ton? I thought the HD's were starting in 2010? Anyway, I'm kinda partial to the current setup. But it doesn't look bad. Tool boxes on the side are very convenient, just more places to leak water to me.

The new display looks like they tried to copy something from Lexus. It looks like they designed it to be more aerodynamic, I wonder if they are going to change anything from that to the HD models, or if they are going to implement a new Cummins motor?

dont know why they are touting the locking tailgate as " new ".
i have the ram lock option on my 04.5.
may be just me, but i also dont think the interior of the 3rd gen looks THAT cheap.
yes, it is run of the mill, but they make is sound like a kia or something.

not sure i like the new body style, ill wait to see one in person.

and.. a V8 cummins ? what are we going to do ??? all the raggin about the powerstroke / duramax being 8 cylinders of crap and now we may have one ?
i see lots of eating crow if that happens.

Hopefully Cummins will not do that. I can't imagine why they would.

I personally think everything about that truck is the dumbest move chrysler has ever done... the tool box is cheap looking, doing away with the option of the megacab and the quad cab is dumb, and most importantly going to a V8???

Yeah, the execs at Chrysler that get paid the big bucks should consult this site when wanting to totally rework their trucks. No Mega or Inline 6 is ludicrous!!!

There will still be an inine 6 for the 2500 and 3500. The smaller V8 is for the 1500.

Oh okay, they want to compete with that new Duramax.
