I run 305/70/17 nitto terra grapplers on my 08 mega cab and I have 5500 miles on it. I only get 12 to 12.5 empty and 8 to 8.5 pulling my 24ft gooseneck. These are hand calculated numbers.

You got 3.73 or 4.10 gears? How's the power?

I'm running 3.73. Power was pretty good until it hit fourth gear, then it fell on it's face. Now I have a Superchip flashpaq on extreme and TS MP-8 turned all the way up, power is no longer a problem. I actually gained 2-4 mpgs with this set up if I keep my foot out of it. I was getting 11-12 mpgs with less power. I also use Stanadyne diesel additive, I'm told it helps with mpgs also.

Did yall take into consideration that some of you all might have different rear ends?lower gears burn more fuel.

redfisherman007-- Thanks for pointing that out. I'm running 3.42's and actually wondering what that will do to my power and mileage once I add 305/70/17 tires.

I know my mileage might go down, hoping I don't see any power loss.

4.10s and 35's getting 12mpg in town, 16mpg hwy empty. That's taking into account the extra miles from the tires. Diesel today was 4.89
