in texas its only the counties and surrounding counties of major cities that have the emission testing. I am sure one day that will change. but like everybody has said FUGUM.

Those vans on the the ramps for the freeway. When they have those sensors setup on the side of the road. I give it all i got when i pass them. I try with what little i have to coat them in black.

Kyle i think you are on to something. If you are worried about your truck smoking one of those things out. Get Stacks. They dont have overhead sensors when you pass through there.

I saw one of these the other day in Plano and since I happened to see this thread I thought I would see if anything ever came out of this? I didn't smoke the trailer but I thought about it.

Are you sure it wasn't one of the traffic sensor vans? I know before, during and after major construction, and not only major but sometimes minor, on roadways they will have a RV with sensors laid across the road, and two black tripods on each side. All they do is count the traffic, the weight and that kind of information. All it is for is to ensure that the roadway can handle the traffic. I am not doubting you, but just making sure you knew about these as well. Hope like hell your wrong, but I wouldn't doubt it if you were right...

there's a portable sniffer station that is set up on the entrance ramp
to ih35 north bound, just north of parmer lane in austin.
its there 3 times a week, never fails.

i always let off the juice when i pass it.
