In Mexico you can go fill your tank and your aux fuel tank and come back no prob. But if you have a new 08 like me you can't use it in your truck because of the DPF issue. It's not offroad fuel with red dye. My buddies do it all the time. I just can't get myself to take a brand new truck into Mexico even if I COULD use that diesel fuel. I am just to afraid of the federalies over there liking my truck enough to keep it.

The Majority of fuel stations in the Washington DC metro area still only sell LSD fuel
i have trouble finding ULSD unless I am .5 miles or so from a major hwy where big trucks fill at
i try to never go under 1/4 tank unless I know where I am going to be.

It only becomes a problem if you have a aux tank not connected to your main fuel cell. Then you get into some trouble because they think you will sell it
