I assumed like most here that the snow prep would come with the stiffer springs. but NOPE. All you get is a skid plate. I was pretty pissed about it.
Thanks for the obvious. I do know a little about my own truck FYI:thumbsup

Sorry I did not know that when I bought my truck. I assumed that Snow prep meant bigger springs and stiffer front end, It did on all my other trucks. Appearantly not on the 6.7

Frankly I don't think they should be able to advertise "snow prep" just by adding a skid plate.

my dealer said i can not have the ^.7L and the snow prep package, i just want it to be under warranty. i talked to the service manager and he said if i put a plow on it, it would void my warranty. I think this is B***sh*t, the 6.7L wouldn't even know that you were plowing. how were you able to get the prep package. i don't even have to have the SNOW CHIEF package, just cover my warranty, that truck was made to work, so let me use it to work
That is bull. Find another dealer. If he is trying to void warranties already you are in trouble.

i agree you need to find another dealer, my dealer is actually up in Northern Indiana about 5 mins. from Michigan so he knows all about pushing snow. He didn't think twice about it.
