Tapping noise

I have a constant tapping noise when at idle, it is more high pitch. Does anyone know if this is normal, or if it is a injector or rocker arm. What exactly would a broken rocker arm sound like or a bad injector? thank you.

dont know if it helps but i have installed TS MP8 and when i start it up after setting all night with control turned all the way up I heard a loud tapping but once i turned it down it went away and after turning it back up it didnt do it anymore so don't know if it helps but there it is!

6.7.... I notice a little tapping noise in mine (5.9) latley as well. Runs strong though. Not exactly sure what's causing it?

Someone said it was piston pin failure, i dont know about that?

I can't help you with the tapping noise, but you sure have a nice truck! I really like the nerf bars you installed. If I got some I am not sure if they would fit my longbox dually though. I want one with the third step to help me reach into the box.

May be the wrong place for this but im curious if anyone has any info on utilizing the factory egt sensor instead of drilling another hole in manifold for aftermarket gauge?
