Or is it the difference in year models?

I remember just a few years ago that most cars you could 'plug and play'.... it was really easy... just hook up the "hot&cold" wires and your off...... But not on the 06-07-08 for sure... may go back deeper.

Yeah, I have heard more than a few horror stories. That is why I have not bought them yet. If anyone has any suggestions as to where they sale HID kits with capacitors or Resistors built into them for our new trucks, please let us know. If this will solve the problem, and it can be proved, I will go that route. I dont want to spend 300 or more dollars on a kit that isnt going to just plug in and work.

I ordered the projector headlight assembly from ebay, (those cheap looking ones). I also ordered a H1 hid kit for the low beam projector. I have had great luck with the Apexcone brand from XENON EXPERT. I have one of these kits in my Charger SRT8 and get no flickering, I also have one currently in my fog lamps, with no problems. I will let you guys know how it all works out. Everything should be here by the end of the month.

Alright. Looking forward to hearing from you. I want to know what those headlights look like, and if they are worth getting. I think there is only one kind that can be found on ebay. At least that is all that I have found, and they come in chrome or black.

The kit i put in the fog lamps works perfectly, no flickering issues at all, pulled them back out so I can match until I get the headlights to work too.

BTW....Is it a black supercharged srt8? Cuz I know a guy who has a black supercharged srt8 and a blue cummins quad cab. (You may recognize 06silversteel from LXF) Is this Ron?

This shows you how to convert from a 9004 to a 9007 bulb. This does not talk about the HID kits, but it is still good info if you wanna go that route.
