All I really wanted to do was a simple reliable delete setup, but there weren't any. I bit the bullet and went with the black maxx for it's simple deletes and gauges built in since I need gauges anyways right? Most of the time I drive it on stock.

OK, the new beta POD software now has software #0 at stock hp for deletes if all setting are #1.

The software should be released next week to all.

Thanks

I am pretty sure the Black Maxx has 4 shift on the fly code free tunes. Stock, Mild, Wild and Hot.

The Smarty will not work on the 03/09 ECM's yet. Still in developement. Chrysler threw a really big monkey wrench at ALL the tuner developers.

Sorry if this was already answered but yes all of these tunes are loaded into the XRT and you menu select them. The only time you have to hook the XRT up to the computer is if you want to go from the set of mild tunes to the set of wild or hot tunes.

With a lot of the XRT owners switching over to the Black Maxx I'm sure you can find a good deal on the XRT.

That would probably be the best bet for the OP.

We posed the question of a 'delete only' tuner (without the horsepower tunes and the high price) to one of the major players and the answer was something along the lines of 'won't happen' since tuners are sold under the 'race use only' clause anything that only deletes the emissions without offering a increase in horsepower can hardly be considered for race use and might directly run afoul of many of the three letter agencies rules.

Maybe things have changed since we asked that question.
